Lowest ranks wore blue while the highest ranked, such as Fett himself, wore gold. He also argued that the suits of armor they wore should be color-coded by rank. He was responsible for the incorporation of conquered races into their culture and also responsible for the incorporation of the ideas of the Neo-Crusaders, a splinter group of Mandalorians whose main ideas include wearing the same armor and having a structured chain of command. Fett was appointed top strategist by the new Mandalore.
Fett was one of the advisors called up by Mandalore the Ultimate to help him rebuild the Mandalorians after the Great Sith War and the death of the previous Mandalore. Both the Galactic Republic and the Mandalorians known little of Cassus Fett's origin, only that he is human.
